Recent excursion

Well, yes, I've been a slug of late about updating my blog. So, sue me! It's been a hectic time, I had the mother of all colds that lasted for f*****g ever, and work has eaten up the biggest part of most days.

HOWEVER, I did manage to steal a long weekend to Philadelphia in March. Flew over with my son and his girlfriend Crystal for a visit with my daughter Laura.

Pictured: Laura is in the black on the left apparently trying to squeeze the stuffing out of Crystal on the right. :) You can't tell these two like each other, right?

I must say I had a great time. Visited the medical oddities at the Mutter (again) on Friday. (Hey, I'm a medical person. We're warped.) Got the opportunity to hook up with my friends Bobbi and Jay for dinner on Friday night. Spent Saturday shopping with the kidlet while Joe and Crystal took in parts of the city. Managed to get to the Art Museum (which I will definitely do again) on Sunday. Even had a chance to see where Laura lives before having to head back to the airport that evening. Good trip.

Now that things are back to the routine, the weather has warmed, and I'm back to the notion of blogging my thoughts, I'll see if I can't be a bit more consistent. Well, there's always hope.

I know, the road to hell was paved with good intentions...
