NoTL

I've been on the move when I haven't been chained to a counter in the microbiology lab. Here is a photo from Niagara on The Lake from later October. The view is from the path behind my girlfriend's home along the river.

We had a real blast this year. Took a trip running the rapids. Yes, we took the covered boat for this trip since it was pretty cool when we were there.

Remember that freak snowstorm that buried the Buffalo airport in late October? Guess who was flying up there...that morning? Needless to say we deamed it the great NoTL adventure. Oh, and what did we NOT see for the entire trip from our diversion into Syracuse and the trip across the state? Not one f****n snowflake!

But, the crew survived, although the luggage was a bit wayward for several of the troops. Even mine took a detour. Just another reminder why I hate to stow luggage and prefer to go totally carry on. If I had only known that the airline regs changed two days before we flew, I would not have had that issue. Oh well.

I'm home. Made it through the holidays. Looking forward to the next excursion although I doubt it will be anything other than a trip to Philadelphia. There is a lot to catch up with so I hope to try to get back to this each day.

Now, let's see what other things spark my attentions in the days and weeks ahead.
