Sunday afternoon thoughts

It has been a while since I've gotten contemplative, probably due to my new obsession with Pinterest.  I'm finding so many recipes and craft ideas along with wedding ideas that I haven't thought much about writing.  But, since you can pin from Blogspot and I have it directly from my email and phone, it's just a natural progression to start blogging and sending pics and crafts to Pinterest.

In the days and weeks to come, I hope to share some of my projects with you as well as new recipes I've tried or created.  I'm working on several craft things with my oldest and dearest friend, Gina.  Between us, what one doesn't think of the other will.  It's been that way for over 45 years and not about to change anytime soon.  Thank God.

I'm experimenting with new food combos and doing some vegetarian things, too.  Since Gina is a veg, it's another natural progression.  I have a wonderful, built-in, taste tester.  How cool is that?

This week I am working on a side table made from a discarded kitchen stool.  I'm planning on painting it black to go into my guest bedroom.  I think I will paint the old desk that was in Joe's room that color too and tie it all together.  Hopefully, Tuesday will be craft day.  Pictures will follow, trust me.

I'm back into creative mode, folks.  Be afraid.  Be very, very afraid.

Dawn
